Toluwani Adegoke, the major author of Flaming Books, writes as inspired by God. Each of her books is crafted with one mission: to shine God’s light into the hearts of every reader. Her prayer is that through her writings, lives will be drawn upwards—towards God, the ultimate source of truth and life.

Just Believe!!!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.

There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking, so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we’re liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

What inspires me

I don’t often walk through forests, but I feel nature’s touch in the wind brushing past me on Lagos buses and bikes. In those moments, I smile, reminded that Papa God watches over me and that I am deeply loved.

This simple connection with nature and love stirs my creativity. They teach me to see beauty even in the chaos, to write words that capture hope, and to tell stories that reflect the magic of being seen and loved.

Love and Nature

I can't stand by and watch people struggle without feeling a deep urge to help. When I witness someone in need, and God blesses me with the answers or has previously guided me through similar challenges, I feel compelled to share His wisdom, when He permits me to write.

Carrying the life and light that God has breathed into me, I am mandated to speak life and illuminate the paths of those I am sent to help.

People

My mind is a wild, untamed garden, teeming with creativity. Ideas flood in, creating beautiful chaos.

Papa helps me write. When I come up with awkward scenarios, He trans forms them into something Exquisite.

I pick up my journal and trusty pen, close my eyes, and wait for that sweet, gentle voice to guide me with content and context. Sometimes, tears of emotion trickle down as I capture His thoughts. In the end, He works miracles through me, for Papa writes through me.

Reading HEAL was like opening a book of remembrance. I could just relate to every bit of words and those words gave me strength and assurance. It made me remind myself of who I am and who God wants me to be. It brought me back into the consciousness of who God is and how much he wants us to let him into every pain, hurt, brokenness and wounds of our heart. It made me realise that God doesn't want to mend our hearts, He wants to make it whole and His. In all, this book is great and just what I needed at this time.

I read chapter two of the book on Saturday while waiting for my hair to be made before my battery ran down and I was in tears.
